Arrhythmia is a condition of cardiac origin that can be classified as a disorder arising due to vitiation of Tridoshas - which means all the three doshas vata, Kapha and Pitta are imbalanced. Imbalanced Vata can be irregular in nature thereby causing irregular heartbeats as its the prime dosha responsible for all the movements. Pitta is higher in pace as its full of energy, rush and aggressive in nature causing heart to beat at a higher pace than normal. Kapha is slow, heavy, calm and low in movements thereby causing heart to beat at a slower pace. So all the three doshas have to be in normal state for the cardiac physiology as well to behave normal, while in a vitiated state, it can lead to origin of various diseases. And Abnormal heart rhythms is a diseased condition which arises due to vitiation of all the three doshas.
